Saturday Surprise

So my oldest daughter Megan is on her way to a new adventure in her life...
She is going to cater my mom's club once a month....
Now my mom and her friends have been doing this club as long as I can remember, it started out for them one evening a month to leave kids home for husbands to watch and they would go to each others house, eat and play cards... Well it has got to the point that they now have it in the afternoons and have it catered.   Some of the ladies have passed away or can no longer get out to go but they all say they will do it as long as they can....

Well my sweet daughter has agreed to do this for my mom, "her grandma" and aunt Beth my moms sister...

So today I made her a apron to wear as she is serving these sweet ladies.....

I saw this material and it looks so 50's I just had to get it,

It is blue with pink and red flowers and yellows centers,

the ruffle and pocket are red dots, and yellow plaid piping, I added big red buttons at the top to add character

 The ties are  yellow plaid and it wraps from the neck and crosses to the sides where is goes through some loops and then a bow tie in the back

I know she will do great, she is a great cook and a wonderful hostess...
