Shabby Chic Shelf

I have wanted a shelf to go in my guest bathroom for a while and couldn't find one I like or could afford so I made one. I bought a shelf that was $5.00 at the dollar store and used the top,  then I went out to the garage an found some more wood.

                                       I measured and cut the wood and sanded it

                                      I glued the ends before I nailed it together

I sprayed painted the hardware black

and the shelf red

     Then I glazed it with black and put on the hardware and hooks

          Now I just need to figure out what to put on it......
    I think It turned out pretty good...I have to say I like my

       shabby chic shelf...
